He Took Hold of Me!
Ezekiel 37:1
"Then the Lord took hold of me..."
That’s all you need to know. That’s all I have to explain. There’s nothing else to say—the Lord took hold of me. He came to me in my sin. In my mess. In my disgrace. In my shame. In my hurt. In my pain. In my disobedience. In my anger. In my pride. In the pit of darkness, He took hold of me. He promised He would never leave me or forsake me—and He kept His word. The Lord took hold of me. He picked me up. He told me in His word, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). I thank Him. And I will live for Him. For the rest of my days, I will praise my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for taking hold of me.
